Drinks @Drop Dead Twice

So originally this blog post was supposed to be included in my 'boozy weekend in Dublin' post (on the way), but it was just so good that it deserved a blog post of its own!

If you haven't heard of this bar yet - let me fill you in! Drop Dead Twice is a cocktail bar with a twist! Basically each person pays €20 and brings a bottle of their preferred spirit. Once there, a master mixologist whips up each guest five amazing cocktails using the drinks the group brought. You following?

Now if you're wondering what you're paying for let me remind you these cocktails aren't your average Sex on the Beach type drinks. You're getting the good stuff! The staff there are passionate about what they're doing so work hard to come up with something delicious to suit your preference. You're also paying for the plenty of other ingredients used like marshmallows, fruit, whipped cream and sprinkles just to name a few!

I went with a group of five girls and our selection of spirits included Vodka, Malibu, Vermouth and Aperol - which was a challenging selection for our mixologists Ross and Amy, but they did an amazing job. I was served an array of some seriously impressive cocktails, each one a completely new taste experience but equally delicious!

The staff there had an amazing knowledge of all things booze and really put a lot of effort into coming up with these spectacular drinks! They even have a pumpkin cocktail!
