Yep, I've definitely been slack on the blogging front for a while, but things just seem to be rather out of control at the moment.
Lots of stress and time in the real world job, and lots of little things about films going on. In the past week, besides scheduling etc, I've written another 5 or so pages for Relentless, discovered the magic and wonders of contracts, and finally allocated times for the films to follow Relentless. All 12 of them.
Yesterday I met with the director of photography and some very cool things have come up, but I'll fill you in on that in the next few days.
Today, we met up with Debra Ades, who will be playing the role of Ashley in Relentless. Armed with a few pints of blood and the Canon 5D, we went out to a location to shoot both some video and a bunch of stills to use for posters etc.
It was great getting out there on location, with the 5D doing its magic, as well as Irene's make up magic and topped off with Debra's magic, we got some great results, and as always when I use a stills camera, surprisingly accurate results to exactly what I was after.
Although it seemed like we all had fun, none of us could compare happiness with the enormous leech that had been sucking me dry from my ankle for a good few hours! And here I was thinking I was getting light headed from lugging all the gear uphill in the dark!
As it's been a rather long day (currently 2:30am), you'll have to be patient to see some of the footage and the new poster, although not too long as I'm pretty excited to get them edited anyway.
